About Tarapur Gaam
Tarapur is a village located in
Gujarat; the west-most state of India. Located about 6 miles north of the Bay
of Khambhaat (or Cambay), Tarapur falls within the region of
Charotar*.
The town (previously a village) has
grown tremedously over the last century. Although majority of the original
residents have moved outside India, it remains an important trade hub of the
region.
The Overseas
Brotherhood..
The brotherhood was established in
1973 with a few simple aims: to promote social, cultural, religious and
educational activities. To date, everyone from Tarapur remain in close contact
with one another through social gatherings like diwali functions, dinner &
dances, etc..

members, the Brotherhood continues to go from strength to strength.
